WOB Racing and Bikes To You survived JCR 09 with only two casualties, two bent derailleur hangers and two rear derailleurs--amazing how those road derailleurs explode when they hit the spokes. We were lucky. Friday night we had 10 or so requests for new derailleurs and hangers, Saturday at 7:00 Ryan was busy fixing bikes at the tent until we ran out of derailleurs. Levi was made hangers ( grinding and filing hangers to fit everything) at the shop. By Sunday things had calmed down--sloppy wet mud became peanut butter mud-- and we were only repairing chains and hangers. Rumor has it that there were 50 derailleurs replaced over the three days. Now it's time to rest: neutral support and racing have left us a bit bleary eyed. Until next season.
